Alternative Orientation
Alternative Orientation is an independent study process designed to accommodate our employees and managers with extenuating circumstances. This orientation provides information on Human Resources policies, benefits, required safety inservices, regulatory requirements and customer service.
You will complete the Carilion Alternative Orientation manual. Your recruiter or your manager will discuss your requirements with you before your first day.
These are the steps for Alternative Orientation:
- Read the Alternative Orientation Manual (.pdf). After you read and understand the materials, complete the Orientation Record on the last page of the manual and return it to Lisa Mauk, Carilion Clinic, 102 Highland Ave., Suite 435, Roanoke, VA 24016 or via email to nlmauk@carilionclinic.org.
