Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Course Description

TNCC, developed by the Emergency Nurses Association, is widely recognized as the premier course for hospitals and trauma centers worldwide. It empowers nurses with the knowledge, critical thinking skills and hands-on training to provide expert care for trauma patients.

Prerequisites

TNCC is offered to active emergency room nurses with at least six month's experience in the ER setting.

Course Preparation

After you register for TNCC, you will receive the course manual approximately 30 days prior to the course. Employees of the Emergency Department at CRMH will receive their course manuals from Kris Peters. All others will receive it through the mail at their homes.

Read and be familiar with the textbook before the course begins.
